Mumbai: We have been after this story since October 2018. We met Kishan Biyani, Managing Director, Ark Travels for the first time at IITT Mumbai. It took another 10 months to finally sit down with the ‘cruise czar’ of India at his office in Andheri West. Since most travel industry majors have their offices in Lower Parel or South Mumbai, we started with that.
Ark Travels penetrates further into the non-cruising representation space, with acquisition of Outbound Konnections. This business move will further expand Ark Travels tourism portfolio as it enters into a space, which is one of the most dynamic and volatile in the travel industry.
Leading b2b player Ark Travels successfully hosted fourth edition of Big Bang Nautical Fiesta. The biggest cruising event by Ark Travels was planned from March 3-6, 2019 for the first time on-board Genting Dream Ex-Singapore.
Organised in alliance with Genting Cruise Lines’ Dream Cruises, Ark Travels promoted three-night sailing from Singapore (Marina Bay Cruise Centre) to beautiful destinations line Penang and Langkawi and hosted 400 travel agents and media from pan India.
